RDM Lawyers: Personal Injury radio commercial 2011
No one plans to be in a car accident. And yet, thousands of British Columbians are injured in accidents every year. That simple dichotomy lies at the heart of the latest radio ad we've created for Fraser Valley law firm RDM Lawyers. Have a listen.
RDM Lawyers: Personal Injury TV commercial
The campaign for RDM Lawyers' Personal Injury practice included TV and radio commercials, newspaper and outdoor transit ads. Rather than use clichéd images of hospitals and ambulances Skunkworks adopted a different approach. We started from the premise that in dealing with ICBC personal injury claims people often don't know what kind of compensation is available and what options are open to them. As a result, they often end up receiving less than they deserve. The underlying theme that runs through all the campaign elements is captured by the tagline "Don't sell yourself short", and is visualized through the attention-grabbing and slightly disturbing image of dollar bills torn in half.
RDM Lawyers: Personal Injury radio commercial
Humour is a powerful tool for getting an advertising message across, and Skunkworks has made a good use of it by turning the seriousness of an inadequate personal injury compensation into a deliberate light-hearted refusal of what one is entitled to. The same underlying notion, but with a twist.
West Coast LEAF: Equality Breakfast Video
A pro bono project for Skunkworks, the West Coast LEAF video was shown at the association's annual equality breakfast and fundraising event. More than 700 guests saw the six-minute video which featured West Coast LEAF volunteers, supporters and staff speaking about the organization's mandate and impact, and encouraged the audience to financially support the organization. The response was overwhelming – in the words of Allison Brewin, West Coast LEAF's Executive Director, "We had a record number of donations at the event. The new monthly donations represent a jump of one third of our expected revenue from monthly donors."
Bull, Housser & Tupper: Office Tour
Few law firms in Vancouver (and perhaps nation-wide) are active in getting themselves known to the fresh law school graduates, and those who do advertise rarely venture outside of the usual media channels – newspaper or magazine adverts. And so, embracing the notion that “seeing is believing”, BH&T utilized the tremendous advantages of web-based video providing an insider’s look into its work environment and people. Besides the Office Tour video, Skunkworks also produced two video interviews of former articling students sharing their experience and wisdom for the future BH&T employees.
Cogent Health Solutions: Equicare CS promotion DVD
Embarking on its biggest video project to date, Skunkworks was commissioned to write, direct, edit and package a DVD video presenting Vancouver-based Cogent HS’s flagship software for cancer survivors in the USA. Working within very tight deadlines, the Skunkworks team filmed over 4 hours of interviews, recorded medical professionals and actors, animated screenshots and diagrams, and edited down the raw material into a 15-minute video much to the client’s satisfaction and respect.

Cayman Island-based CML Offshore Recruitment, a leader in placing accounting, legal and IT specialists in offshore offices around the globe, has long been an active advertiser in the region.
